Mr. Romney seems a bit less optimistic fellow. That's why I wouldn't vote him, yet,  Mr. Obama's  over optimistic attitude makes  me convinced  to  prefer the former over the later anyhow, because over optimism at times brings multiples of  complication in one's life and his/her followers, as per history records

As morality in America, and the world declines, it will be harder and harder to put a moral, god fearing, righteous man in office........our leaders will just reflect the will of the people in the end........that is why in the end, the anti-christ will be a hero, and worshipped by the world.........Revelation 13:3.........And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

Why are they voting for the Mittwit?  They are all Repugnicans, no other reason.  None of them liked the Mittwit, but, because he has an R after his name, they will follow like lemmings and vote for him.  Norquist is a great one to have on there.  He just wants someone with five digits who is capable of signing his name to legislation that the wingnuts put on his desk. That fits the Mittwit perfectly.

terrible piece.  all you have done is given the pols one more chance to spew talking points.  does not matter if they are based in fact or not.  have heard far too much from these guys anyway.

why not just plaster a warning over every individual--associated with campaigns and giving money.  political spinning at its' worst.  commenting in own political vested interest.

What the heck is wrong with these last comments? Really were talking about all the lies Mr President has told Americans. I  find it that more and more Americans dont know how to vote.  Romney doesn't have offshore accounts, Romney did show his taxes, But its funny how people don't mention all the things that Mr President loves to hide about his life. Finally for people on this website to presume that conservatives don't have blacks or Hispanics representing them is false. Powell, Condalisa Rice etc. And last but not least for people to say we will be dissapointed in Mitt is like not looking at our own president who has broken half his promises but yet hs supporters exuse him all the way. Grow up America, be wiser and stop using other people arguiments as your own.

I find it funny that not one of them is black or a person of color. Nevermind Nikki Haley, who was born Sikh. She doesn't count, technically, because if you look up her pictures, she's looks very white and therefore, if you are ignorant as to her personal history, you'd think she's white.

i am baffled at people who even consider RMoney/RLyan. How can you be so irresponsible. Out of country bank accounts. Refusing to release his taxes. Which by a way there is a reason why they do release them and he wont. He is no leader he is spineless.  Name 1 subject he stands for? The fact that he put his face on TV for the past 4 years bashing Obama every chance he could and then do a about face in the debates is pathetic. I do not want this used car sales man running this country. Putin thanked RMoney for naming Russia our #1 foe because that gave him the leverage he needed to put nukes in places where he was not allowed to by the UN. Now he can. So he has already screwed the US. I am insulted this man is in the same light as Obama. This country has hit a new low.

5 opinions and not one that is even close to center. The extremists have taken over the party and we have to treat them accordingly.

Wow! No sentient being could possibly vote for Romney/Ryan.  THEY LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING ... AND THERE IS VIDEO TO PROVE IT.  Also when these Republicans make the following PUBLIC COMMENTS and you chose to ignore them anyway ... you are not a sentient, thinking being.

"The cost of not releasing the returns are clear. Therefore, he must have calculated that there are higher costs in releasing them." - George Will, July 15, 2012 concerning Romey's 2009 Tax Returns.

"This is a man without a core, a man without substance, a man that will say anything to become president of the United States." ~ Rudy Giuliani about Willard "Mitt" Romney

Further, when a Romney rally welcomes someone wearing a 'Put the White Back in the White House' shirt, you know what their campaign slogan is ...

Smiling Mitt supporters should be passing out flowers at airports. But cloaked beneath Romney's ability to inspire this kind of glassy-eyed adulation is a man who would destroy global civilization to save it. (Not really   an exaggeration considering his recent chummy chat with war crazed John Bolton.) If you vote for Mitt, be prepared to go all the way in your support of him or face the cruelest dissapointment of your life.

There are some basic assumptions that everyone needs to make about the economy before they can decide if President Obama failed or that Governor Romney can succeed.

First: Was the economy in far worse shape than anyone realized when the President took office? If it was, then it's easy to dismiss Romney's claims that the stimulus failed. If the economy wasn't that bad, then it's easy to believe Romney.

Second: Does Romney have an actual plan to improve the economy? Obama supporters would say no, and Romney supporters would say yes. Has anyone said anything more than rhetoric?

Third: Did Republicans shut down the President’s policies after the 2010 elections? If so, then shouldn't they own the economy? Or have they actually been working with the president for the last two years?

To elicit pledges of not voting for new taxes while not eliciting pledges to not vote for new spending is to set the timer on the self destruct button.  You understand the political realities and happily place the poison on the county's tongue.
