Anthony Lake

Anthony Lake is the executive director of the United Nations Children’s Fund. He served as a senior foreign policy adviser to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, a role he also performed during Bill Clinton's 1991 presidential campaign. Lake has managed a full range of foreign policy, national security, humanitarian and development issues at the most senior levels: as National Security Advisor under President Bill Clinton and as Director of Policy Planning in President Jimmy Carter’s administration.
