Beth Lapides is the host and creator of UnCabaret, which she has produced since 1993 as a live show and for Comedy Central, Comedy World Radio, and Amazon VOD. She has hosted a daily radio show, The Beth Lapides Experience, on Comedy World Radio as well as the series The Other Network and Say The Word. She’s been on NPR’s All Things Considered, Politically Incorrect, ABC Radio, and HuffPo. As an actress she plays offbeat authority figures, most notably on Sex and the City. Beth is the author of Did I Wake You? Haiku for Modern Living and has written for O, The Oprah Magazine, Los Angeles Times, and Elle Decor; her monthly column, “My Other Car Is a Yoga Mat,” was syndicated by LA Yoga magazine. She teaches The Comedian’s Way workshops at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She has written and performed numerous shows, including her most recent show, 100% Happy 88% of the Time.
