Was Lowry Absent for the Obama Presidency?

Rich Lowry’s endorsement of Mitt Romney [“The Case for Mitt Romney”] must be the most misguided and pathetically weak argument for a Romney/Ryan presidency I have read this election cycle. To start, his praising of broken-down “trickle-down” theories is embarrassing, not to mention his claiming that Romney’s free market-style healthcare plan is the way to go. And then there’s this quote: “Whatever his failings, Romney is unlikely to demonstrate the same high-handed contempt for the other party that Obama has, or the same shocking classlessness.” Really, Mr. Lowry? Do I really need to send you a list of all the bills that congressional Republicans blocked or tried to block over the last four years? Were you asleep during the recent presidential debates? Judging by your assessment of Obama and Romney, I would answer in the affirmative.
