Introverts Aren’t Always Shy

Being an introvert myself, I do prefer quiet over chaos but don't actively avoid social situations.

While I love your insightful article on introverts, I take issue with the word shyness being used interchangeably with introverted. In fact, your cover story states exactly that “introverted does not have to mean shy.” Being an introvert myself, I do prefer quiet over chaos but don’t actively avoid social situations or meeting new people. While there are similarities between the two, all introverts are not shy, many times we just prefer our own company.
