Richard Land is president of Southern Evangelical Seminary, a non-denominational seminary based in Charlotte, NC. Prior to becoming president of SES, Dr. Land served for 25 years as the president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the Southern Baptist Convention’s official entity assigned to address social, moral, and ethical concerns, with particular attention to their impact on American families and their faith. He is a graduate of Princeton and Oxford Universities, and has served five terms with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
In February 2005, Land was featured in Time Magazine as one of “The Twenty-five Most Influential Evangelicals in America.”
