He has been a frequent witness before congressional and senate committees and a consultant to senior government officials on education and welfare. Murray is the author of the bestselling The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life. His latest book, Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960-2010 was published in January 2012.
