Ricky Gervais co-wrote, co-produced and starred in the hit BBC series The Office, which was on air for two years and adapted for a U.S. series now in its eighth season. Gervais has also starred in films such as Ghost Town and The Invention of Lying. He was named to the TIME 100 in 2010 and has won numerous awards including seven BAFTA awards, two Emmys and three Golden Globes.
