Wes Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University in 2001. He also completed an MLitt in International Relations from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar in 2004. As a paratrooper and captain in the U.S. Army, Moore served a combat tour of duty in Afghanistan from 2005 to 2006 before becoming a White House Fellow and serving as a Special Assistant to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Moore also serves on the board of the Iraq Afghanistan Veterans of America. His first book is The Other Wes Moore.
