Jeanmarie Perrone, M.D., FACMT, is an associate professor of emergency medicine and the director of the Division of Medical Toxicology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She has lectured nationally and published in major journals including the NEJM and JAMA on the topic of the prescription-drug epidemic. She is a consultant to both the FDA and CDC on methods to track and enhance safe opioid prescribing.
