Ayman Mohyeldin is a foreign correspondent for NBC News based in the Middle East. Prior to joining the network, he covered the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia for Al Jazeera English. In 2008, Mohyeldin was the only American journalist who covered Israel’s war with Hamas from inside the Gaza Strip. He began his career at NBC News in 2001 covering Sept. 11 and then went to Iraq and Afghanistan for CNN. He was named to the TIME 100 in 2011.
