Shiza Shahid is the CEO of the Malala Fund, which she co-founded with Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teen activist who was shot in the head during an assassination attempt by the Taliban because of her outspoken campaign for girls’ education rights. The 24-year-old has been referred to as Yousafzai’s mentor and right hand.
